Private Math Tutor in Belmont Shore
I have been a private math tutor for over 13 years. I specialize in Algebra 2 and AP Calculus, but can help with everything from basic arithmetic to advanced statistics. I believe that every student has the ability to do well in Math courses taught, sometimes it just takes a new way of looking at the maths presented. I believe learning takes time but with the right skills students can learn to learn to eventually be able to help themselves. I recently was on a Fulbright Award, 2023 - 2024 at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver doing advanced economics course work and research, reciving a Masters in Economics. I have a Bachelors in Economics and a minor in Applied Math. I currently lead data analytics for the sustainability team at Honda North America. References are available upon request
Rates:
30 minutes — $40 + travel (if outside of Belmont Shore)
60 minutes — $50 + travel (if outside of Belmont Shore)
90 minutes — $80 + travel (if outside of Belmont Shore)
While I can do longer sessions, I typically do not recommend over 60 minutes for students unless we are doing a final review before a large exam. I can also be reached by cell phone at 562-760
