Naples Sabot
The boat I first learned on at the Leeway Sailing Center
Sailing isn’t just a hobby for me, it’s a passion. I started sailing in January when I was in 8th grade. I was the only kid signed up for the class and while I did freeze (note to self January is not a good time to learn how to sail) I had so much fun. I was hooked. Looking back on it, I am grateful that I was the only person signed up in the class meant for kids age 8, little did I know at the time that I was receiving private coaching from a national champion and meeting a great mentor for both sailing and life. I now sail competitively up and down the California coast and PNW - striving for success and achieving it at some of the highest levels such as winning the 2024 Tasar North Americans or managing and crewing on a Farr 36 achieving Seattle Yacht Club sailboat of the year 2022 & 2023
